  1. Hello, I am definitely intrigued by the ability to express one’s individuality through coding in this manner. I would like to inquire that once the ‘spell coding’ and World creation has been fine tuned and completed.. If there would be a database of avatar races, tribal markings (or tattoos), skin color/texture pallet, and other ways to customize the ‘avatar’ extension of our own preferred sense of individuality within the game? If so, then I can only guess how much attention and word of mouth advertisement that this game would receive.

PS: My email account link activation page didn’t load on my tablet, will try tomorrow on a regular desktop.

    • I think you’re right! Avatar individualization would be a really awesome feature we could implement in the future!

    • We’re not sure how long it’ll take to get the game out of Early Access or how much it will be yet! I expect the price of the game will decrease over time though!

  3. Hi!
I have a small question about this game.
Does CodeSpells support the Intel HD 4000 chipset?

    • This would be a good question for our Forums:

I don’t see why not, but you can see if anyone else has played the game before using that chipset!

Can the game be played on a chromebook or cloud book?

      • Not yet, but we’re hoping to make a web version within the next year that might be playable on a chromebook! We understand a lot of schools have chromebooks now a days, and we want the game to be as accessible as possible!

  4. I teach a middle school computing class and would love to incorporate this game into my curriculum. Do you have any deals for educational pricing and is there a viable way to get the game onto a classroom lab of computers? I have steam myself, but I don’t know about using it in a lab setting.

    • Currently, we only have the game available on Steam. At some point in the future, we’d like to release an educational browser-based version of the game, but we need funding for that project (we’re thinking an NSF or Dept of Ed grant could help us out there.) In the meantime, feel free to contact us at if you’d like to discuss getting Steam access keys for your classroom.

      • I recommend setting this up as a gift to the students. Discounted for a school, but letting the students keep it on their own steam accounts.

Perhaps encourage students with a lesson in password security as well before reaching this part of the curriculum.

    • You’re welcome to purchase 12 copies of CodeSpells on Steam! That will give you all the rights to use the game in your school that you need. 🙂
